Three Thirteen Rummy is an exciting variant of rummy played by two or more players using 2 common decks of cards. Three Thirteen Rummy may relate to many other variations of rummy with its rules and gameplay especially during the melding and discarding of cards.

The objective of the game is to gain minimum points during the whole game by making valid and legal melds. The game begins when the dealer deals the cards to the players. The remaining cards are placed on the table which becomes the closed stack and a card is drawn from it facing upwards making it a discards section. The Three Thirteen Rummy game is played in a clockwise manner i.e. the player on the left of the dealer begins the game.

Once a player had made his legal sets or sequences and finishes the game first, he goes out allowing other players to have another shot to improve their points. The player with least points in the rummy game is the winner.

The point system in Three Thirteen Rummy relates a lot to Indian Rummy. The cards with numbers are valued according to their values in the cards. The other cards like K,Q and J are valued with 10 points. Aces can be of high values or low values depending on the melds. There are other rules that give Aces a high point of 15 and also face cards like J,Q and K with 11,12 and 13 respectively.
