Jokers play a crucial role in rummy; known as life saviors, they can be used in place of any other cards to form sets and sequences. However, you need to be careful while playing with Jokers and implement the right strategies in online rummy games to win with Jokers.

Focus on Pure Sequences: Never use Jokers to form sequences right away in online rummy games. If you use Jokers to form sequences, you may miss out on a chance to form pure sequences. So, try to make pure sequences first and then use the Jokers to form remaining sequences and/or sets.

Group Your Jokers: If you have more than two jokers in rummy games, group them together separately. Keep them as the life-saving group of cards that you could use to win a game of rummy. When you make a pure sequence, use the group of Jokers to complete other sequences and/or sets.

Discard Cards Close to Jokers: Nobody likes to use a Joker to form pure sequences in rummy; so, discard cards that are close to Jokers. For example, if 5♥ is the wild joker, discard cards which are close to the Joker like 3♥, 4♥, 6♥ and 7♥. If your online rummy opponent has a 5♥, there is a good probability that he/she would not pick such discarded cards to form a pure sequence with the Joker.

Too Many Jokers: Playing with too many Jokers is not the right strategy in online rummy games. Having more than four Jokers can ruin your chances of forming pure sequences. So, you should discard them if you think you are not able to use them properly. Besides, discarding a Joker is not a bad option, as your online rummy opponents cannot pick your discarded Jokers.
